Survivors animation

This term we are learning about PES survivors and how animals  Adapt  to Survive.The animal for this story is a penguin that goes to the desert to see if it will survive or not survive. We had to Create an animation showing how the penguin will survive in this new investment

A penguin will only have thick fat skin and they have flippers to help them swim and slide.The penguins have white fir so other animals won’t see them but when they are in the water the sea lion and killer whales will eat them.

I put my animal in the desert. It won’t survive because it will get eaten by another animal and it is too hot for the animal to survive.The penguin can’t run because they will sink in the sand.

My animal will only survive in the desert if it had thin skin and  hooves like Camels and Change the colour of their fur to yellow.The animal will survive because I changed the colour so other animals can’t see it and the skin into thin skin. I also changed the feet into hooves like camels feet.

My animal  wouldn't survive if I didn’t have lots of changes.

Egg friend race

Have you ever had an egg race before,wall we had an egg race on Wednesday the 21st of Oct,It was the funniest thing we done.

Our teacher Mr Bax gave us an egg and we had to draw a face for our egg friend.My egg Friend had long hear and she Smiles  every day, my egg friends name is Elizabeth.

When that was done we went to the park and Mr Bax gave us spoons and we started the race. When I got to the monkey bar I went to jump off and my egg cracked. There was this yellow stuff in it and it smelled so bad That I had to bury her. she was the best friend I ever had.

After that all of us went back to class and people were saying that they buried their egg.I wish that we can do some more  funny thing with our teacher.

My Holiday

In the holidays my family and I went to the beach. When we got to the beach I saw my sister , she was sitting on the set at Pt England Reserve .

At the beach we had a BBQ, for the BBQ we had sausages, steak, pork chops with onions and tomatoes on top and I helped my mum with the potato salad. When my brother was helping my mum and one of the boys cook the BBQ,I went for a swim.

After that we had dinner when we were eating dinner my mum went to get fish & chips. We had a lot of food to eat because there were a lot of people, my big brothers friends all bought food to the BBQ, and it was cool. When we finished I went for another swim in the deep part, but my big brothers told me that I had to stay close to the shallow end. Hosea didn't come for a swim because he didn't want to get wet and he left his clothes behind.

When we got home everyone was tired because we had spent the whole day at the beach and got home about 5 o'clock at night.Me and  My mum put all the food away in the fridge then we had a rest and watched movies.

Also in the holidays my mum had 1 week off course and on that week my brother and I went to her graduation level 5 hospitality. I met her tutors and her tutors son Josh,  my mum’s tutor let us play on the computers at course while they were having their graduation.

We had lots of nice food there and it was fun there were people walking around with the food and we were allowed to help ourselves. when the food was gone me and my brother went back on the computer we were there until 3pm. This was the best holiday ever in my life.

Kei holiday

Two weeks ago in the holiday. I went to rainbow end with my greedy sister in law. We went because it was her  brother birthday he is turning 25 years old.

At rainbow's end I went on one of the ride  and I almost fell off because  there were other people  

The next thing we went to was the place where they have birthday party. There was a big cake chocolate  because lots of people came to his birthday. The cake had a candle that said 25 after that we all went home.

I wish  I can go back to rainbows end and go to the new ride and got the next birthday.

Creative story starter

One day there was a strong troll whose hat comes to life he wondered he done it.when the troll came back the hat was starting  talking to him and the strong troll fated. Two hours later the troll woke up. The strong troll said how can you talk and the hat talked?.The next two hour later the strong troll got up and grabbed same tape to tape the hat mouth to make it stop the hat talking.

The next day when the troll woke up the hat started to talk again and the troll so the tape it was everywhere.But he wondered how the tape came of  the hat. The hat was jumping around the trolls house and the troll was getting annoyed from the hat And the troll yelled at the hat and the hat started to cry

The troll said i’m sorry for yelling at you and the said i’m sorry too for talking too much

My favourite Teacher

   

Our teacher Mrs Jacobsen is wonderful because she lets us have free time when we are

A spaceman bravely walks out into the icy milkyway. He watches the stars around him.  Suddenly he looks back at his ship and he sees that there is big hole in it. He knows that it's going to be a big fix up.

He quickly make his way back to the ship where the repair kit waits. Everything he will need to fix it is in there. It took him 2 hours to fix it.

The next thing he knew an alien was coming out from the corner of the ship. The alien had a red body, 3 eyes, 4 arms and 3 fingers on each hand.

The  Astronaut was afraid that the alien get killed. He ran into the ship and the  alien said “do you want to play with me”

Jack and the beanstalk

At Sunday at 1.00 jack so that there was a giant lying dead in a hole . He wander if another giant posh the other giant down from the sky.Then jacks mum call him she said I need you to go and sale the cow for money.

The next day jack went to go sale the cow when jack  was walking down the road he so a strange man coming towards jack. Jack said can I buy your cow for magic beans.Then jack took the beans and ran srate home. He call his mum he said look I have four magic bean. His mum said lose bean yoslis and  his mum threw the bean outside.

When jack was climp up the beanstalk he so that there was a big castle in front of him he said if he went in he will find gold. When he was in the castle he so a big giant sleeping with gold under him. He found a bag and put gold in the bag and he so a bird that lays golden egg then he took that too.He went quickly  as he can out the door. Then the giant was running after jack he ran down the beanstalk.He cut the beanstalk down and the giant died.Then the giant was never seen again.

Creative Paragraphs- Man In Space

This week we have been learning to rework our writing to make our paragraphs interesting for our audience. We started by writing a creative sentence about this picture. As a class we will choose Nate's sentence because we liked it the best and wrote a paragraph each to follow the chosen sentence. Here is the beginning of my story that starts with Nate's sentence.

holiday highlight

Last Sunday my cousin, me and my Auty went to the zoo because it was my cousin birthday. We were going to do it at her house but the backyard was too small.

I was scared of the lion because it was roaring at me.I saw monkey,tigers,giraffe,penguins and lions. My favourite animal was the lion because the hair around it’s head.

After that we had to go home because the zoo was closing I was so excited?.

I wish that I can go back to the zoo next time.  

  

Omaru creek

Here is omaru creek,omaru is next to Pt England school,long ago it was clean and the fish code find there food.Then a few years later the people were throwing rubbish in the creek.The thing that live in the creek like little fish, tuna eel, duck, water boatman.

Our creek is poison,brown and the fish will die.We have trees to covering our creek so it the fish can stay cool.If the creek had no tree the fish will be boiling?.Did you know that the creek is getting dirty and we are trying to keep it clean.

The rubbish cacher something  that gets all of the rubbish that the people throwing in.The creek has not been like this before because the yos to go into the sea.

    

Easter sunday

People have different beliefs about Easter. Some people think it is about bunnies, Easter eggs, food, when Jesus Christ was resurrected and some people don’t celebrate it.

A long time ago the Ancient egyptians said that the earth came from an egg.

The first chocolate egg was made in Germany.They paint the Easter eggs with spring colours.

The Christians said that Jesus Christ died on Easter Friday and was resurrected back on Easter 
sunday.  

year 5 & 6 camp

Last week the year 5 and 6 had camp. My camp group was the honest Squad and      our leaders were Tj ,Rosalina. The first thing we done was  practised awer dance for the consent. our song was kung fu fighting we were practising in the hall on the stage.When we were in the hall.mrs lavakola said if we do the dunce right we can ride on the rollerblades.

Then the next thing we done was top town mr j was telling us how to play.We were raising  the all stars.mr j gave us water balloons.He tolled us to go and put water. We had to frowe the water balloon at the other team.

At night time we went to go and watched movies the movie we watched was the lego.

Some of the kids were falling asleep?Some kids were wearing onesies.

On the next day in the morning mr s was playing music too weak up the all of the kids

We were running in the hall we had to dancing after that we had breakfast and get ready.

The things we done we  kayaking and making cookies for morning tea. For morning tea we had pizza bread,cookies and milk.

On the last day of camp we went to magaray pools it was fun because I wished that camp lasted for a week

My visit up North

On Tuesday me,my mum and my two brothers went up north to see my cousin billy

Me and my cousin were riding on houses and she fell off the house she was riding too

fast. My cousin billy she broke her arm because she made  the  house  jump over  the fens

The next day we went to take her to the hospital and they pote a cast on her arm. I was going to ask her what do you what  to do today I said do you want to pate the houses She said no then I  said do you what to colour  and she said yes.
